Essays in the Philosophy of Humanism, founded in 1992, is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal published by the American Humanist Association and The Institute for Humanist Studies.
Essays in the Philosophy of Humanism publishes articles about aspects and applications of humanism, in the broad sense of ‘philosophical’ as a search for self-understanding, life wisdom, and improvingshe the human condition. EPH welcomes historical, interdisciplinary, and intercultural research, including non-western perspectives. EPH especially seeks explorations into humanism’s progressive philosophy of life that, without theism and other supernatural beliefs, affirms the ability and responsibility to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that aspire to the greater good of humanity.
