Where do you turn when life hands you a genuinely hard question?

My own experience and judgment. I don’t need religion, but I stay open to things I can’t fully explain

A mix of faith and gut instinct. I’ll take divine guidance and common sense in equal measure

Scripture, my faith community and the guidance of clergy who’ve walked this road before me

Evidence and reasoning. If it can’t be tested or observed, I don’t build my life around it

Where did we come from? How did we get here?

Maybe a higher power? The universe?

A divine creator made all of us, just like scripture says

I trust evolution and cosmology; the science is well-established

Natural processes, though I doubt science will ever have it all figured out

What guides you when you’re deciding right from wrong?

My family’s values and what my elders taught me

The moral laws of my religion

Who’s affected, what the consequences are, whether it’s fair for everyone

I check my gut, and how it’d look to people I respect

What gives your life meaning?

The people I love, and watching myself grow

Making something that outlasts me, and leaving the world a little better

My faith, family, and community

Serving God and following a divinely appointed purpose

How do you feel about religion’s role in government?

Honestly, this feels like something states should decide for themselves

Politicians should be free to let their faith shape how they lead

Keeping government secular is how we protect everyone’s freedom to believe, or not, on their own terms

This is a Christian nation, and our laws should reflect that

What do you think happens when we die?

I’ll likely be reincarnated into another life or spirit

I don’t know, I’m open to a number of theories

This life is it, and that’s exactly what makes it worth living fully

I’ll be with God in heaven

How do you relate to people who believe or live differently than you do?

I believe there’s a right way to live, and I hope others come to see that too

I engage people who don’t share my beliefs and give my perspective

I believe everyone deserves the same rights and respect, whether or not I understand or agree with how they live

I respect someone to the extent that I respect their belief system

Question 08*

What do you think we owe to each other, and to the planet, long term?

My faith motivates me, but I also believe in real, scientific solutions like clean energy and conservation

Real change means fixing systems, policy, industry, institutions, not just individual habits

I try to reduce my own footprint, what I buy, waste, eat, use, because it adds up

God will ultimately renew or restore the world, so my duty is to live rightly now and trust the rest to Him
