URGENT: Ask Your Member of Congress to Attend Tomorrow’s Johnson Amendment Briefing!

Last week, I let you know about briefings we will be holding in both the House and Senate on January 31 focusing on the Johnson Amendment. This amendment, which prohibits churches from participating in campaign politics, may soon be repealed by the Religious Right and their allies in government. We need your help to make sure that members of Congress know about the briefings and come out to attend.

Ask your Representative, Senators, and their staffers to attend the American Humanist Association’s Johnson Amendment briefings on January 31.

President Trump and his supporters have made it clear that they are willing to act on their outdated ideas unless people like you stand up and let your voice be heard.
