What is Humanism?

You’re joining a movement that includes Bill Nye the Science Guy, novelist Kurt Vonnegut and author Zora Neale Hurston – people who built entire lives on curiosity, honesty, and taking care of each other without needing permission from above. Humanism, put simply, is the belief that people can live good, ethical lives through reason and compassion.

But does it ever feel like you’re doing all this good-person work solo, with no one to call when the news gets heavy or the world feels too big to fix by yourself?
