Dear Friends,
Last spring, we announced the launch of an exciting new project of the Kochhar Humanist Education Center–the Humanist Teacher Corps–and today we’re moving to the next step! The Humanist Teacher Corps will bring together a group of American Humanist Association members and other supporters of humanism to teach humanist values, ethics, critical thinking, social justice and more, and we want you to join the Corps and/or help us identify others interested in doing so. Click herefor more information about how you can sign up.
Now in its second year, the Kochhar Humanist Education Center develops and identifies lifelong curricula and online resources in humanist education, including critical thinking, humanist history and values, ethics, and social justice. With two pilot educational programs underway in AHA chapters, and with more to come soon, the KHEC is building the educational foundation to strengthen humanism in every age group in America.
The strength of humanist education comes from AHA supporters who put their humanism into action. Let’s make the Humanist Teacher Corps a central part of our effort to make this world a better place to live, learn and grow. Sign-up here.
Sincerely,
Bob Bhaerman, Ed. D., Coordinator
