We actually agree on a few things

TLDR: We’re on different roads, for sure, but you and Humanists land in the same place more often than you’d think – especially on the things that matter most.

It can feel like the world wants you to pick a team: faith or nonbelief, religious or secular, pineapple on pizza, with no room to just want fairness for everyone regardless of what they believe. Humanism is simply the belief that people deserve to live with dignity and freedom of conscience, which happens to be something plenty of religious people believe, too. That’s actually common ground, not a compromise.

That’s what the American Humanist Association exists for on this front, working alongside people of many faiths to make sure no one, believer or not, gets discriminated against or has someone else’s beliefs forced on them by law. Here’s a couple places to learn more about our work:
