(Nationwide, March 14, 2023) – The American Humanist Association (AHA) is officially returning to in-person events after three years of gathering virtually.

Registration is now live for the AHA’s 82nd Annual Conference, Crossroads and Collective Futures, taking place May 5-7, 2023 in Denver, CO. This event will be hosted in-person at the Renaissance Denver Central Park Hotel. Some elements, including plenary sessions and awards speeches, will also be streamed live online for attendees around the world.

Crossroads and Collective Futures will be dedicated to illuminating key areas where humanists can make a difference and provide open and safe spaces for humanists to workshop, learn, share stories, and collaborate on a visionary future for humanism that builds bridges, not walls. The AHA is finalizing a lineup of humanist speakers and awardees who will lead invigorating sessions and events that will acknowledge where our nation has been and how to actively work to build a better future for all.

“While we understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic still lingers, after three years of virtual conferences we believe it is critical to share in-person opportunities for bonding and learning with our fellow humanists. Gathering together is a crucial tradition in our 80 year legacy,” said the AHA’s interim executive director Nicole Carr. “Whether you choose to join us in Denver or watch remotely from your home, we cannot wait to show you what we have planned. ”

Information about in-person registration, virtual attendee registration, hotel reservations, and sponsorship opportunities can be found at conference.americanhumanist.org. Early-bird discount pricing for in-person registration is available through April 2nd.
