Join the AHA’s Fish Stark for a conversation on how humanism has shaped American history, including democracy, culture, education, and science. Humanism is a belief system for anyone who thinks that science tells us what’s real and compassion tells us what’s right, and works in partnership with faith traditions to support the freedom of conscience, the separation of religion and government, and human dignity. Many Americans have humanist beliefs but haven’t heard about the word – though this is quickly changing.
