Susan Sackett was executive assistant to the late Gene Roddenberry (creator of Star Trek) for 17 years until his death in 1991. She co-wrote several Star Trek: The Next Generation scripts and is the author of 10 non-fiction books about the entertainment industry.

From 2000 to 2010 she was president of the Humanist Society of Greater Phoenix. Susan has been a certified Humanist Celebrant since 2001. She serves on the AHA Board of Directors and is currently the secretary for the executive committee.

Her speaking topics include "Humanism in Star Trek," "Growing Your Chapter," and "Owning Your Own Humanist Community Center." Honorarium terms are best negotiated on an individual basis. Susan Sackett does not usually stipulate this fee; however, compensation for travel is required.
