AHA Chapters

It can be difficult to keep up with the proliferation of local Humanist groups that are Chapters or are Affiliated with the American Humanist Association. The following is a listing of group names and contact information - in the form of e-mail addresses, postal addresses and phone numbers of individual contacts - for the local groups that have established relationships with the AHA. (If you know of additions or corrections of the information posted, please contact the AHA field@americanhumanist.org)

If you are interested in inquiring about or joining a Chapter or Affiliate of the AHA in your area, please use the contact information provided. For more general information about Humanism, feel free to contact the AHA's national office field@americanhumanist.org

To find your local group using this map, you can do it many diiferent ways.

  • Click, drag, and move around the map to see local groups in your area.
Select a Happy Human Pin to view the contact information for that group.  Blue pins indicate a Membership Chapters, Orange pins are Affiliates.
  • Using the controls just below the map, you can search for groups by Zipcode, State, or by description.
  • You can also look through the list below, sorted alphabetically.
Note: Many of the addresses provided are not the location where the groups meet, but simply the contact address.  Please call, write, or visit the groups website for more information on meetings and events,
