As the first same-sex couples begin to wed in Washington, DC, the Humanist Society, an adjunct of the AHA, has licensed and experienced Humanist Celebrants available to perform non-religious marriage ceremonies.

The Nomination Committee of the AHA is currently accepting nominations for our 2010 board of directors election. If you are an AHA member in good standing for at least the past year, and are interested in helping to shape the future direction of the AHA, consider running for a position on our board of directors. The deadline for nominations is April 19, 2010.
